Interesting talk by
Scott Bayder Saye who explores Islamophobia within a broader and theological understanding of what he terms 'the politics of fear' and suggests resources within the three Abrahamic traditions for resisting this culture. Although the early part of the talk appears to be limited to North Amercan context don't let that put you off listening to the whole thing. The second half is particularly good, including a thoughtful theological reflection on fear drawing upon both Biblical and Qur'anic sources.
